The Economist is delighted to announce that the 6th annual Sustainability Summit will be held in London on March 22nd -24th 2021.
In January 2020, the United Nations called for a “decade of ambitious action” to meet the Sustainable Development Goals by 2030. The world has faced inordinate challenges in the months since, but action on climate change simply cannot wait.
Over two and a half days, Sustainability Summit 2021 will convene leaders from business, policy, civil society, research and academia to ask how the global community can rise to the challenge of limiting global warming to 1.5°C. How can societies be mobilised, transformations made and solutions taken to scale? What actions must be taken now?
