We are pleased to invite all UArctic members to attend UArctic Assembly 2023 held in Quebec City, Canada on 22-26 May. The meeting is hosted by Université Laval. Register through this link.

Apply for summer school: Living in the landscape

Living in the landscape (LiLa) is an multidisciplinary summer school organized annually with UArctic ASAD TN (Arctic Sustainable Arts and Design) for MA and PhD students where landscapes are explored with culturally sensitive and new materialistic investigations and art-based processing. The central themes are cultural, ecological and social sustainability and posthuman issues related to the circumpolar North´s sociocultural environments.

 

Research Infrastructure Catalogue Highlight

Submit your infrastructures for inclusion in the UArctic Research Infrastructure Catalogue

We encourage members of UArctic community to submit new infrastructures, update existing ones if needed, and in general to explore the UArctic Research Infrastructure Catalogue. The Catalogue is an online database for searching and identifying research infrastructures and facilities located at and operated by the UArctic member institutions.

 

Student highlight

My Northern Journey - Harry Borlase

UArctic is pleased to announce a new series of video interviews titled "My Northern Journey". The first episode features Harry Borlase, a former UArctic intern. Currently he is the director of strategic investments for the Indigenous Services Canada department. In the interview Harry shares how his time in Finnish Lapland and specifically working at UArctic has impacted his life and career.
