The European Commission is organising the next edition of the EU Arctic Forum, Indigenous Peoples’ Dialogue, and EU-Arctic Youth Dialogue. The events are organised in cooperation with the local, regional, and national authorities of Finland and will take place in Levi, Kittilä on 26 - 27 June 2025, with side events foreseen on 25 and 28 June.

Commissioner Costas Kadis will host the event. Together with the Commissioner, the Minister for European Affairs and Ownership Steering of Finland, Joakim Strand, will open the events.

The EU Arctic Forum, Indigenous Peoples’ Dialogue and EU-Arctic Youth Dialogue will bring together key Arctic players and stakeholders to assess recent developments in the Arctic and discuss challenges and opportunities ahead, in particular those affecting young people, local and indigenous communities. The event will include keynote addresses as well as inclusive and balanced panel sessions. The aim of the events is to illustrate the EU's engagement in and for the Arctic, and assess progress made since the adoption in October 2021 of the updated EU Joint Communication on the Arctic.[1]

We cordially invite you to save these dates. Registration for the events will open shortly. Further information will be available on https://oceans-and-fisheries.ec.europa.eu/events/eu-arctic-forum-and-indigenous-peoples-dialogue-2025-06-26_en
