We want to hear from people who live, work, or do research in the Arctic, or have done so over the past five years. Your responses to the ONE HEALTH SURVEY will help us understand if, where, how, and why Arctic stakeholders use a One Health approach. The online survey takes about 15 minutes.

MORE INFORMATION:
The Arctic Council’s Sustainable Development Working Group (SDWG) conducts a range projects respecting the human dimensions of the Arctic.
The SDWG is requesting your assistance and that of your networks in collecting vital data for its Arctic One Health project. ‘One Health’ is an holistic approach—considering human, animal, plant, and environmental factors— to identify health risks threatening the Arctic. The project team will collect data via an online survey.
You will find a link to the online survey on the SDWG home page at www.sdwg.org .
This survey will assist in establishing a baseline for the One Health approach in the Arctic region. The survey aims to improve the understanding of where, how, and why (or why not) individuals and organizations use a ‘One Health’ model. The target audience for the survey are those individuals who currently or over the past five years have lived in, worked in, or done research in the Arctic. This might include a colleague – someone within your professional network or agency/institute, country, or organization. Or it might be an individual that you know personally from your community. The goal is to hear from a diverse group of respondents, including traditional and local knowledge holders, who know something about human heath, wildlife, plants, animal health, ecosystems, marine and freshwater issues, water and sanitation, climate impacts, emergency response, or health and science policy.
The survey should only take 15 minutes. It relies on a chain-referral survey method, so we ask that responders share the survey link with three colleagues, who in turn would take the survey and then share it with three other contacts. You can only take the survey once, but you can edit your responses until the survey is closed on March 15, 2016. Thank you in advance for completing this survey and for sharing it widely!
