Currently a massive majestic iceberg is at the mouth of Eyjafjörður fjord in North Iceland. A sighting like this has not been seen in this area since around 1968.
The National Coastguard warns passing boats of the danger sailing close to it because even though big icebergs are usually easier for ships to see the ice has splintered and ice particles can also be a danger to boats. The iceberg is around 20 meters above water so below water it can be around three to nine times that size.
