The Second Call for Papersof the 28th Polar Libraries Colloquy to be held in Quebec City, from June 7th to 13th.
The theme of the Colloquy is Sharing Polar Cultures and Knowledge: Perspectives from Libraries and Archives. A part of the Colloquy will be dedicated to the challenges of research data in polar studies, and will include a panel session on this topic.
We are still looking for proposals for oral presentations or posters connected to research data in polar studies. Two subthemes in the Call for Papers are related to this question:
- Establishing a culture of data preservation and sharing among northern or polar researchers.
- Interdisciplinary and intersectoral management of research data on northern or polar territories.
We hope to receive proposals from you, and we count on you to transmit this Second Call for Papers to colleagues who might be interested, but which are not reached by this email.
