Halldór Jóhannsson is awarded the Walter Hickle medal

Halldór Jóhannsson the Executive Director of Arcticportal.org is in Yakutsk Siberia working with the Northern Forum that is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year.

Today at the Opening Ceremony of the III Northern Sustainable Development Forum he was awarded the Walter Hickle medal for his outstanding commitment and support to the Northern Forum. We are very honored and happy for the recognition.

The opening ceremony was streamed live on the Northern Forum youtube page.
