When: 18th January 2022
The lecture series is a part of the 75 anniversary of diplomatic relations between Canada and Iceland.
A conversation on opportunities to increase diversity and gender equality in the Arctic through policy- and decision-making processes.
What should policy and decision makers consider as key priorities and strategies with respect to increasing diversity and gender equality in the Arctic? And how do we raise awareness and understanding of gender topics in the Arctic region?
These are among the key questions to be discussed and debated by Icelandic and Canadian speakers during this event, the next in a series hosted by the Embassy of Canada in Iceland and the Embassy of Iceland in Canada in partnership with Polar Knowledge Canada and the Icelandic Arctic Cooperation Network (IACN).
