Arctic Basecamp calling climate change activists

We’ll be heading back to Davos this May, so we’re busy assembling a delegation to camp with us. To join our delegation, apply before 31st March, 2022.

What Is the Youth Ambassador Programme?

The first speech climate activist Greta Thunberg gave at the World Economic Forum in Davos happened at Arctic Basecamp when she camped with us in 2019.

Since then, we’ve been facilitating youth participation at international events to raise awareness of the global risks from Arctic change.

Why get involved?

At Arctic Basecamp, we ‘speak science to power’ in order to encourage bold climate action and inspire a movement for change.

We want to support youth at the forefront of this movement, and that’s where our Youth Ambassadors come in.

This year, members of our international youth climate delegation at Davos will have the opportunity to have their voices heard alongside our scientists, world leaders and other high-profile individuals.

Who can join us?

We invite young adults aged 18-27 years old from all over the world, particularly those from nations closely affected by climate change.

How can you sign up?
