The Arctic Circle Assembly will take place in Reykjavík, Iceland on 13-16 October. The Assembly features 600+ speakers in over 200 sessions, numerous receptions, meetings and exhibitions on Arctic issues, climate change, clean energy and blue economy among other topics, will take place during the Assembly. Over 2000 attendees are predicted to participate from nearly 70 countries.
H.E. the Rt. Hon. Mary Simon, Canada's first Indigenous Governor General, and H.R.H. Haakon, Crown Prince of Norway, are among the participants. H.E. Alar Karis, President of the Republic of Estonia, H.E. Múté B. Egede, Prime Minister of Greenland and H.E. Katrín Jakobsdóttir, Prime Minister of Iceland, among other ministers from various countries, will speak at the Assembly.
