Challenges Freerice

The World Food Forum and the World Food Programme (WFP) have joined forces to combat food waste by launching the "50 Days to Fight Food Waste" challenge. This initiative takes the form of a game known as FREERICE, where participants answer questions to accumulate grains. The objective is to collect over 50 million rice grains within 50 days!

Did you know that each year up to 783 million people go to bed hungry each night, while about 30% of the world's food is wasted? Food loss and waste also account for 8-10% of global greenhouse gas emissions. Join the World Food Forum and Freerice to show that food action accelerates climate action. Let's raise 25 million rice grains for food, for our planet and for our shared future.
