Graceful inhabitants of the Arctic and sub-Arctic oceans, beluga whales are gentle creatures, also know as "sea canaries" due to their melodic vocalizations.

Belugas are characterized by their lack of a dorsal fin, which allows them to navigate through narrow channels and cracks in the ice with ease. Their bulbous forehead houses an echolocation system that aids in finding food, communicating, and navigating their environment.

Belugas are highly social and often travel in small pods. Their playful behavior is a marvel to behold, as they breach, spin, and interact, seemingly rejoicing in their watery domain. Belugas are known to approach boats and humans.

Belugas are versatile feeders and possess a varied menu that includes fish, crustaceans, and squid. The well-developed senses, including a keen sense of hearing, assist them in locating prey.
