The 8th China – Nordic Arctic Cooperation (CNARC) Symposium will be held from 3 to 6 December 2023 in Guangzhou China. Registration is still open!
The Symposium is held by South China Business College, Guangdong University of Foreign Studies (SCBC) and co-convened by the Polar Research Institute of China (PRIC), the Secretariat of CNARC, Arctic Portal.org, and the Arctic Yearbook.

With " Sustainable Development of the Arctic Oriented: The Role of Sino-Nordic Cooperation” as its overarching theme, the symposium invites presentations that examine:
Session 1: International Cooperation in the Arctic for the Next Decade: New Visions and New Missions
Session 2: Sustainable Development of the Arctic: Knowledge, Rights, and Policies
Session 3: Realizing Good Governance in Arctic Admist Geopolitical Obstacles
Session 4: China’s Ten Years as an Observer in the Arctic Council: China's Scientific Contributions
