Arctic Portal (AP) and Korea Polar Research Institute (KOPRI), signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) during the Arctic Partnership Week in Busan, Korea, on 11 December 2023.
The purpose of this MoU is to establish a framework for cooperation and to facilitate collaboration between the Arctic Portal and Korea Polar Research Institute to promote programs and joint activities that foster cooperation.
Potential cooperation activities may include, but are not limited to strengthening technical information and knowledge exchange, encouraging Arctic information and knowledge sharing, and fostering collaboration and partnerships in Arctic information and knowledge capacity development.
Both parties look forward to future mutually beneficial collaboration on these important topics.

The theme of this year's Arctic Partnership Week is, "Great Transition: Navigating New Arctic,".
The primary goal of the Arctic Partnership Week 2023 is to lay the groundwork for collaborative efforts in the Arctic.

Given the urgency of the climate crisis in the region, the event highlights the need for meticulous and dedicated observation and research. Additionally, there is a significant emphasis on profound considerations for the direction of sustainable development in the Arctic.
