IPA Photography Contest 2024

The International Permafrost Association (IPA) has announced that the IPA’s Photography Contest is back! Enter to join the fun, win prizes, and showcase your photos to the international permafrost community!

This year’s theme is Permafrost in Colour!

We welcome submissions highlighting the spectrum of colour across permafrost landscapes… from the autumn senescence to the Aurora to vibrant field gear and infrastructure (e.g., Arctic houses and Antarctic research stations).

About the IPA

The mission of the International Permafrost Association (IPA) is to promote research in permafrost and permafrost-related fields within the global scientific and engineering communities, to support the activities of researchers in these disciplines, and to disseminate findings concerning permafrost to the decision-makers, the general public and educators.
